HCA Students

Harvest Christian Academy’s elementary curriculum has been developed to recognize the diversity of learning styles, educational levels, and personal interests of our students.  We have adopted a range of educational materials and activities that focus on things that are distinctive to a Christ-centered program.  Elementary students have a main classroom and teacher, but leave their room for art, music, physical education, library, computers and foreign language classes.

Because we are a K-12 school, our elementary students are included in activities at an earlier age.  They attend pep rallies and sports events and often partner with secondary classes for special projects.  Elementary students also have activities that are uniquely their own.  Speech meet, spelling bee and math Olympics are some of the academic competitions that our student enthusiastically prepare for and enjoy.  The school also has a tradition of much-anticipated field trips that involve students and their parents.

For elementary Bible classes, we use the ACSI Purposeful Design series.  You can see the books on their website at www.acsi.org
